Because you love my work…Photography is a very personal thing and every photographer has a different style. Mine is relaxed. I don’t prepare a long list of must-have shots to tick off as I go because, while doing that, I'd miss real stuff happening right in front of me.
Care and attention…I’m not an unfeeling professional just providing a service. People choose me because I really care about you and your experience. I can adapt to any changes on the day to capture what you really want. I’m calm and levelheaded, so you can just relax and enjoy yourselves.
Careful editing of your images…I don’t release anything to you that hasn’t been perfected by me first. I control the editing process to give you consistency throughout your entire set of images. I choose to capture images as I see them so you won’t see selective color or vaseline vignetting .
Security and peace of mind…I know you don’t want to bother with the backstage details, so leave that to me. I have a back-up camera body always available. I stash plenty of spare memory cards and batteries in my bag. I take extra care to back-up your photographs multiple times until the images are safely in your hands. I can’t be creative and fully capable on the day unless I’ve prepared and planned extensively in advance.
And while all of these are important… Whether it be during a wedding or a senior session, I want to compliment and capture you, not be a disruption. I’m not going to be up in your face, bellowing orders. This is your time – the last thing you need is a big ego directing every movement. I’m friendly, approachable and (when necessary) just bossy enough to get a handful of group shots done quickly. Above all, I’m very happy to be there with you. This is not the 9 – 5 I’m turning up for.
